The Fall for the Book Festival wants Mason students to join together — in reading! — as part of our fourth annual Mason|Reads program. This year, Mason|Reads turns attention to a well-loved classic: THE COLOR PURPLE by Alice Walker, a novel celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. We’ll be offering FREE copies of the book to Mason students (with ID) on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, August 27 & 28 — 35 copies each day! And sign up to meet Walker herself on Thursday, September 27, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall, Center for the Arts, on Mason’s Fairfax Campus. More info at www.fallforthebook.org
Pick up your free copy of Alice Walker’s landmark novel THE COLOR PURPLE on Monday and Tuesday, August 27 & 28 — and reserve your seats to meet Walker herself and other authors during this year’s Fall for the Book Festival, Sept. 26-30.
