Time: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Students with Mason ID can pick up free copies of Amy Tan’s novel Saving Fish From Drowning as part of this year’s Mason|Reads Program. Sponsored by the Fall for the Book Festival, Mason|Reads is a “one book, one community” program designed to bring Mason faculty, staff, and students together in reading. Two events during the festival continue the fun. On Tuesday, September 20, join others in the Mason Community to discuss the book at noon in the Festival Tent on the JC plaza and then meet Amy Tan in person when she accepts the 2011 Fairfax Prize at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall.
Students will need Mason ID to pick up a copy of the novel, first-come, first-served while supplied last.
