Advice/Tips/Fine Print
-Arrive early to meet your bus and guarantee your seat.

-Seats are available on a first come, first-served basis.

-Buses will depart at the exact scheduled time. Students who are late to the departure locations (to and from campus) will be responsible for finding and funding alternate transportation.

-Free transportation to and from all locations includes Bus transport, as well as a One Day Metrorail Pass if you are traveling to the Georgetown/Rosslyn, National Mall/Smithsonian, or National Zoo locations.

-If you are traveling to the National Mall/Smithsonian, or National Zoo location, you will need to use your One Day Metro-rail pass to travel home on the metro and then meet the free Mason-Metro Shuttle at the Vienna/GMU Metro station. Mason to Metro shuttle service begins at 5:30pm. The Mason to Metro shuttle stop at the Vienna Metro is on the north side of the station and that is the far left shelter when one comes out to the semi-circle of bus shelters on the north side.

-Consider your footwear. Many of the locations are outdoors/require a lot of walking.

-Student staff will be available on each trip with information about each location and to answer questions about transportation. Recommendations for each trip will also be provided, however participants should not expect tours and are ultimately responsible for their own actions and itineraries during each trip.

-Plan your trip! Use the information/itineraries and guides provided in the “More Info” sections to plan your day.
